I'm 22 years old, freshly graduated from physics in Ghent. My summers consist of music festivals, travelling and chilling with friends. Furthermore I am passionate about learning about the world around me, nature through science and people through stories and conversations.
I live by the rule that you shouldn't judge and can always learn something from somebody, this allows one to grow through the experiences of others. I believe that this has helped me in enjoying my travels around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me travelling is more about meeting different people and different cultures than completing a checklist of touristic places. The best way to achieve this is by meeting people who know where to go and have stories to tell.
This works both ways of course, I love my city Ghent and would love to extend this love to other people from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, mostly reggae and hiphop but also blues, soul, jazz, motown, rock, indie rock, techno, minimal and many more.
Like most of the world I'm a Game of Thrones fan, but I enjoy all sorts of tv-shows. Most of the times I watch light-hearted comedies but I also appreciate more serious series like Breaking Bad or True Detective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago I backpacked through the Dolomites in Italy. The experience of walking for two weeks just on the power of your own feet and rewarding yourself with an amazing mountain-view was one of the most blissful moments of my life.

I have recently picked the piano back up so I could teach you a song or two.
My ambition is to be a teacher and this is reflected in my enjoyment of explaining things to other people, especially about the physics and origin of the universe and the abstract ways physicists look at the world (ten dimensional reality, black holes, ...).
