About Me
I grew up in a small city near Montréal, and I just moved to Québec city for studies. I love the communautarian way of life: I live with 5 of my best friends in a big flat near the university. We like to hang out together and chat on every possible subject, at home or at the bar. I love reading, listening to and playing music (I play violin), skiing, sharing nice meals with my friends...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because meeting travelers is always amazing. They have lots to share, from incredible life experiences to ridiculous travel stories. Even though I would love to be around the world all year long, hosting backpackers is also a nice way to travel a bit myself! This year we had the chance to host a lot of guests from all around the world, and we hope to host a lot more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was working in a charming little hostel in Albania. The owner, a very nice dutch man, was a big fan of exploring the country by himself, without the help of touristic accomodations (they basically don't exist in Albania). He suggested to me and to a young german couple a 6-7 hours hike, giving us indications and maps. Of course, we managed to get lost (for our defense the track was tricky at that part), and we ended up trying to climb a very steep hill (it was really more like a cliff). We finally got at the top, hoping to find our trail. We didn't. We found cow trails though, and we follow them until we ran into the sherperd. He led us the way so we could get past his dogs (have you ever seen sherperd dogs? They're pretty scary...). At that point we were really of our track, but we got to a little road where we were lucky enough to get picked up by a man. He gave us a ride back to our town right before the sunset, safe and soud!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of fun and travel stories, around a beer, an ice cream, or whatever you feel like having! It is always nice to have other people's perspective, and always interesting to learn about cultural differences and similarities.
