About Me
NEW ACCOUNT. I've already been surfing, but lost an access to my old account.
Heeey! I once was a physics teacher, a journalist and now studying to be an economist. My dream is to work in UN agency and save the world or at least make it a bit more livable.🇺🇳 I can be too nerdy speaking about politics and economics.
I spent all my childhood in Odesa, Ukraine. Then moved with parents to Moscow. And after the war began I moved to Liepāja, Latvia, my historical motherland.
I’ve been to quite a lot of countries (46 currently). So I can share some experience or give an advice.
Friends say that I’m easygoing, probably it’s true. I would always be happy to meet new people and hang out together. But if you want your space - no problem, I definitely can find myself something to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I adore traveling. Simply as that. But Couchsurfing adds a lot of flavor to any trip: meeting new people, exploring the culture from inside, talking about local politics hah.
I am also really glad to help broke students stay at my place, because with current living crisis we all can really help each other. Traveling shouldn't be luxury, it's a way to educate yourself and therefore it should be affordable.
Interests
I’m interested in politics and economics. Also always happy to talk about education. And definitely can talk about traveling all day long.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like aaaany kind of music (so even the weirdest music taste won't scare me away).
Movies, oh well, on a rainy day I can watch some comedy or something from the cinema. However, most of the time I watch some festival movies about human rights, protests, politics. Quite nerdy...
I totally prefer non-fiction books, now with my studies in university all I read is economics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve been to Namibian desert, and slept there right under the stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hahah, physics, math, economics since I’m a teacher. Russian or Ukrainian language. I would like to know your local history and culture, and food of course :)
Also, I'm making first steps in bartending, so I can teach you how to make some cocktails.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I always grab some local sweets or something like for my hosts :)
