About Me
LIFE IN FEW WORDS:
After some Engineer studies in Normandy (France), I have worked in California and in Paris, where I have lived in a solidary house. Today, I have got married with Agathe and we lived in Brest, a city in Brittany, located at the top west of France (Brittany, a wild but wonderful country...)
In Brest, I work in an electronic cards factory. Most of my hobbies deal with the ocean : surfing, swimming, sailing (and running / climbing / hiking / biking, not too far from the shore ;) ).
I have traveled in different countries in France and abroad. What I prefer is the concept of the "trip" (hike, bike, sailing boat, car, van...); the best way to discover new places and new people. ;)
PERSONALITY:
I'm very curious; That's why I really enjoy meeting and discovering new people thanks to CouchSurfing !
PHILOSOPHY
"The happiness does not come to those who wait for him sat." Baden Powell
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting people who are travelling through the country and surfing some couches on my travels bring various opportunities to meet and discover new people: a stranger is a friend you haven't meet.
Interests
I am someone active and interested in a lot of different things.
I must say that I love sport; especially outdoor activities like running (trail, orienteering), biking, hiking, surfing, sailing, climbing...
I have also others hobbies, I have been scout since a long years ago and I love arts; literature, painting exhibitions, concerts.
Also, I really like cooking, as some of the Frenchies ! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of music, my taste is defintely eclectic; one day I will go to electro concert, next week it could be opera...
Concerning the movies, I prefer the ones which tell us a real story, this kind of film which can teach you something (especially when it's movies about History; I love Geography and History).
And for the books, I love fondly French literature, especially novels written by famous authors (Zola, Hugo, Maupassant) and poetry (Baudelaire, Verlaine and Apollinaire). Times to times I read English detective story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During 2 years, I have lived in a solidary shared house with young professional and people form the street. It was an outstanding experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a scout chef for 4 years, I have been teaching to boy scouts a lot of different things related to scouting; camping, cooking, living in the wilderness, playing with others...
