Hi, my name is Max. I am from Zurich, where I study Architecture. I live with my friend Marcus who studies electrical engineering here. We really enjoy cooking together and spend a lot of time in our living room, where you will also find an extendable couch as your bed. We often invite friends over to have a few beers or smoke up, to simply hang out or for some board games. Or any combination thereof. We‘re also into D’n‘B, and even though the scene in Switzerland is quite small, there are some nice events to go to every now and then.
Although my parents are from Germany, I grew up in Zurich and know all the good places :)
At uni, I‘m doing something between architecture and engineering, mostly about sustainable design and building technology. I use Rhino and Grasshopper and some energy simulation plugins. I also use Unity, where I have created some VR experience of a building and a little iPhone app :)
Before starting my masters, I lived in Denmark (where I learnt Danish) and Hong Kong for a while.
Also, even though this should go withouht saying, if you don‘t put a little effort in your request and tell us why you wanna stay with us, chances are we won‘t host you.

In 2018 I read around 32 books. These days I don‘t read that many anymore, but I still enjoy reading different kinds of books and discussing ideas with others. Me and a few friends founded a book club with regular meetings in 2023
