关于我

As I approach my 40s, I’ve realized there are a few things I’d love to do. I’d love to visit European countries and Latin America—places I’ve never really known or experienced.

At the same time, I’m starting my own business in local tourism. That said, this isn’t the reason I’m here. It will simply take me some time to become more stable before I can travel again. The site is not finished, just in case..., https://www.facebook.com/siamotravelthailand/

Thai people usually have an official name, a family name, and a nickname—so you can call me May.

I was born and raised in Bangkok. I work a regular office job and used to be a weekend tour guide. I love traveling, especially around Thailand, and I’m still discovering places I’ve never been before.

I’m scared of heights, but I love snorkeling—even though I can’t swim 😄 I’m into history, culture, and traditions. I’m not great at cooking, but I love eating, especially Thai food.

And if there’s music… I’m always up for dancing 💃

…Why am I still here?

About five years ago, I discovered this community, and back then it felt incredibly warm and welcoming. I couldn’t host because it wasn’t comfortable for my parents, but I tried to give back in the ways I could — organizing free tours, sharing the history, culture, and traditions of my country. I genuinely loved doing that.

Having a host while traveling abroad would definitely be helpful, but the truth is, I usually prefer staying on my own.

Time has passed, things have changed, and so have I. But even now, I still want to create events and activities that might interest CS travelers. It feels good to give something meaningful to the community, in my own way.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Maybe dancing salsa?

Salsa is a beautiful dance, but its movements feel so different from my own culture. In Thailand, our traditional dances have a completely different rhythm and body language — graceful, gentle, and precise in a way that contrasts with the dynamic, bold energy of salsa.
