Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keeping an eye out for life's little idiosyncrasies.
ABOUT ME
After spending a couple years in Paris during university, I took life on the road for a while and then relocated back to the SF Bay Area, where I've spent the past few years working for a sculpture studio that specializes in large scale installations for museums, parks, movie/concert sets/props, burning man, and whatever other kooky things people can think up.
I'm a maker of many things, from clothing to machinery, building-sized sculpture to microscopic models. I've got busy hands and like a good project, or to see what others have made. I love a good adventure, an unusual interaction, an unexpected turn of events, seeing what little wonders are hiding out there in the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Do what you love, make what you need, keep it real.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have surfed in the past, now finally settled enough to offer up a couch as well.
Interests
I'm one crafty lady. I like anything involving yarn, wool, acorns and other naturepods, and I usually have a few projects involving each of those things going at a given time. I'm interested in the natural world, animals, art and film. Also, learning new and eccentric skills...teach me yours!

Teach, Learn, Share
All types of fiber skills--knitting, felting, weaving, I love it all.
Can teach you to make a bitchin' pop-up card, or play a great round of Exquisite Corpse (doodling game).
I probably can't figure out how to hook up your TV, but I can probably manage the remote.
