CURRENT MISSION
To continue exploring worldly possibilities, adventures and experiences - at home and while away!
ABOUT ME
Namaste and Welcome to my world!
I'm Indian Canadian, lived in Asia, Europe and now in Toronto. I've been CS'ing for a while now, after having heard about it through a CS friend in 2010. While hosting a Lot of surfers and surfing when I get a chance, I've made life-long best friends!
CS has been great - helps me meet and befriend wonderful people from all over the world. Getting to understand, learn and gain some perspective and knowledge on their cultures and views covering wide ranging topic, plus, observing them witness my way-of-life and the happenings around where I reside - it's pretty much what I enjoy and look forward to (when of course normal life permits lol)
I've had a very positive and enjoyable time making solid connections, and it's almost like meeting long-lost friends most of the times. Meeting them on multiple occasions builds a bond like no other.. Postive vibes all round!
What I'd like to do when I meet my CS buddy, host or surfer is to go with the flow - - - light or deep conversations, catchup, hang out, walk-about, get coffee, or hit a bar/park/restaurant/theatre/whatever, Nature trip, explore, immerse, meet up with others, or do nothing!
So, based on priorities, without prejudice and expectations, we can discuss the answers to the hardest questions, or blankly stare into horizon at some scenic spot together!
"We all live in our own bubbled worlds, in this greater world of ours, so lets share it, or burst it!
Either way, I'm in for this wonderful phase of happiness and invite you into to it too!
I ♥ Google maps
- Aaram Se Ashram - This was the name of the Mysore (India) house where we (friends, hosts and travellers) lived like a community!

PHILOSOPHY
Rational, Liberal, idealist living a normal life?
Philosophies always tend to contradict one and other. I have so many antidotes and ideas every now and then... I could argue both ways... Talk to me - surely will lead to an all-nighter conversation! O:) Maybe in our abstractness we find matching philosophies?!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
CS suggests - "Hosting, surfing, activities... there's a lot to do here. What's your favorite way to get involved?"
Well, I host, surf and the activities are a bonus!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CS been beyond awesome so far. I've met so many people with the diversity of their lands, culture, language - IT BECOMES A WHOLE DAMN MORE INTERESTING - when you just chill-out with them, talking only to realize that there are more commonalities and that the diversity was merely on face value, hence that we're all quintessentially alike!!
A beautiful noted mention is that I am now with my life time travel partner, a natural love connection - her positive vibes are infectious!
I'm always keen and eager to learn.
Couch surfing has been peaceful! :)
Centres d'intérêt
My interests are varied. From demographics, world issues, politics, aliens, idealisms, music to visual entertainment to nature. I'm into exploring those hidden geographically serene spots - love to find the less visited/hidden spot and NOT post the location with geo-tag. The "discovery" of such spots excites me.
Of course, I love hiking /trekking, water sports, and most activities that fall under Adventurisms!!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
As a 13-year-old, I got an unobstructed view of the Himalayas below me while sitting on the glass floor-canopy of the navigator's cabin, under the nose of an Indian Air Force cargo jet, the IL-76, a Russian giant called "Gajraj" (King Elephant) in India.
I was traveling with my family to Leh in the Ladakh region, India's north most. We flew low in the valley, along rivers and glaciers. As soon as we reached Leh, I saw the famous Sindhu (Indus) river flowing near the airport with Buddhist stupas dotted all around the landscape. Sandwiched between the screeching-ly high mountains of the white Himalayas and the brown and sandy Karakoram ranges, I was blown away by Leh's picturesque and dramatic landscapes.... Soon after, altitude sickness kicked in, but that story is for later!
Among many:
* Tibet road trip and high altitude trek (18,000feet)
* Island tripping in South east Asia ;)
* Northern lights from where I stay/work in Sweden
* Camping in a forest by the Pacific ocean in Canada
* Psy trance festivals in the forests of Sweden, Canada and Himalayas (countless raves)
* Surfing in Sri Lanka (and standing!)
* Meeting famous DJ's Ajja, Protonica
* Bryan Adams Twice, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Enrique Live
* Spending a night in the Sahara desert in Morocco
* Liverpool 🏆 parade 2025
* Watching a Liverpool game at Anfield, on the KOP! ~YNWA~
* Partying with Argentines in Mexico!
* Partying with Brazilians in Brazil!
* Watching a football game at the Maracana!
* Camping by the Atlantic ocean @ Acadia National park in Maine, USA
* Camping by the Pacific ocean @ Pacific Rim National park in BC, Canada
* Missing a bus in New York because we go too high lol
* etc etc.. (for when we meet:)
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can share stories and tips about places I've been to in India and abroad, while I listen to my traveller buddy, which helps learn a few things here and there. Listening to your experiences are more than enough for me to be happy!
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
My time, attention and stories, whatever I'm carrying, fruits and edibles, anything that gets shared at that point of time.
