I’m a family man with a deep love for traveling and discovering new cultures. While having a family has added beautiful responsibilities to my life, it also means I don’t get to travel as much as I used to. That’s why I really enjoy Couchsurfing. It allows me to stay connected to the world by meeting incredible people from different backgrounds, even when I’m not on the road. When I do get the chance to travel, I like to connect with locals or fellow travelers, grab coffee, try new foods, and explore cities in a simple, relaxed way. For me, it’s never about checking boxes. It’s about the people and the stories. ⸻ When I’m at Home in Al Madinah Sometimes I’m able to host, depending on my schedule. Even when I’m not hosting, I’m happy to meet up for coffee or lunch, have a good conversation, and share a bit about local culture and daily life here. I can also drive guests around and show them some local spots, usually quieter places that visitors don’t always get to see. I tend to avoid the Prophet’s Mosque area though, just because it gets really crowded and stressful, so I may not be able to accompany guests there. Above all, I’m always happy to offer a warm welcome and create a meaningful moment of connection.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe that travel is about more than just visiting new places—it’s about connecting with people, sharing stories, and building friendships that cross borders. Meeting locals or fellow travelers brings a sense of authenticity and depth to any journey, whether I’m hosting, surfing, or simply meeting up for a chat. Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to explore the world from home by welcoming people from different cultures, and when I do get to travel, it helps me experience destinations in a way that no guidebook can offer. For me, it’s all about creating meaningful memories and fostering a spirit of community and kindness.
