About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to learn, always.
ABOUT ME
--- I'm currently in New York, but I'll be back in Budapest in September to host all you lovely people. ---
I live, work and study in Budapest, Hungary. I'm a wannabe archaeologist, a screenwriter, outofthebox thinker, human tornado and part-time penguin enthusiast. I have a fat cat who rules the world (according to him). I love music, smart people, my studies, this planet, the rest of space also, going out, going up, going everywhere.
PHILOSOPHY
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different. (K. V.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been surfing mostly, but I can't wait to have my own place this fall to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wonderful backpacking & cs-ing in Paris, 2o1o.o8.
Interests
Archaeology,
stuff hidden in the dust,
ancient languages,
literature,
theatre,
music,
politics (not left-or-right bullshit, just general political thinking and philosophy),
fashion (mainly togas),
meeting & talking with interesting, nice and clever people,
good parties,
dancing, doing stupid things while drunk and realising them the next day, while waking up with the worst headache in written history,
visiting places I've wanted to see since I was a child,
doing completely nothing for a couple of hours,
cooking (I'm pretty good at it),
writing stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
Rome, Satyricon, The Pillow Book, Apocalypse, now, If..., Big Fish, La mala educación, and a lot more.
Music:
Palya Bea, Shantel, Gogol Bordello, Mumford and Sons, Manu Chao, Rotfront, Leningrad, Tori Amos, Vivaldi, J. S. Bach, Besh o DroM, Tame Impala, Idan Raichel, Cesaria Evora, The Black Keys, Ella Fitzgerald, N.O.H.A., Bob Marley, etc. Nice gipsy and jewish/klezmer music also, or any acoustic guitar music played solo. I'm open to good books :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Digging into the past is the most amazing, always. Discovering hidden places, getting lost in dirty streets, late night talks which end in making breakfast wondering where time went.
I do amazing stuff all the freaking time. (Except when I'm cleaning cat litter or translating latin legal texts.)
Life rocks.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to dig the most perfect holes you've ever seen, some pottery-typology and also Hungarian, if you're interested (you should be; besides Russian, as I know, we have the widest accessory of swear-words). And I like to learn anything, from rocket-science to crab-fishing.
Share? Experiences, palinka (google it if you don't know what it is), beer, thoughts, a chocolate bar, whatever!
Also, I sing well and I'm a damn good cook. (Except when it comes to cookies. I usually screw up cookies.)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
