I started using couchsurfing for the community message boards when I was living in Spain and looking for language exchange partners. I've since mostly used it as a way of meeting people - I've lived in London, Lisbon, Seville, New Orleans and Rio and it's been a great way of connecting with locals and travellers alike whenever I find myself in a new place.

I've done many amazing things. But I'm happiest either alone on a nice day surrounded by nature, or which good food and interesting people of an evening.
