ABOUT ME

I am a deeply spiritual being who loves discovery, adventure, and healing. I'm passionate, soulful, analytical, and struggle with the balance between heart and head. I live a very clean and healthy lifestyle, no drugs, drinking or smoking. I'm a raw vegan who only eats organic food. I intend to be as nonjudgmental as possible of people walking paths that are different from mine. I intend to be in the moment as much as possible and approach each day with a sense of newness. My life seems to change radically on a regular basis and even though change is hard for me, I welcome my evolution towards becoming my best self always.

PHILOSOPHY

To expand and to Ascend in consciousness is to fulfill our true potential as souls. The purpose of life is to Love, see clearly, speak Truth, and know ourselves as God. No separation, All One, One Love/Light.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not hosted anyone yet but have attended a Couchsurfing potluck in Buffalo. I also "surfed" when I was in Richmond and had a good experience with that.

Interests

Favorite movies include 'Forrest Gump,' 'Erin Brockovich,' 'Steel Magnolias,' 'Gandhi,' 'Requiem for a Dream,' 'Waking Life,' 'Jerry Maguire,' 'Cloud Atlas,' 'The Notebook'

Favorite music includes any kind of electronica, most classical (particularly French Impressionists: Ravel, Faure, Debussy) and romantic composers (Tchiakovsky, Chopin), Coldplay, Tori Amos, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, some Top 40 pop/R&B (more from the early 00's/late '90s), Zoe Keating, and just a lot of random songs from various genres!

Favorite books include Pomosexuals, Cunt, Stone Butch Blues, Cat Eye, Braided Lives, Small Change, She's Come Undone, Eat/Pray/Love.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach Kundalini Yoga and am very knowledgeable about raw veganism and some other spiritual/esoteric concepts and am happy to share my knowledge and these teachings with anyone who's interested!

I want to learn about everything, most especially how to create a better world and how everyone can be empowered and free from what imprisons them mentally, physically, spiritually, sexually, etc.

I want to share my heart and energy with other dynamic, loving individuals.
