I moved out to the west recently and realized how much of my own country I haven't seen. So now I'm taking some time to travel and explore the U.S.

I think that the best way to understand a new place and culture is to immerse yourself and get to know the people that live there. You cannot get to know people by staying in a hotel where you are isolated from the community.

Potsdam may be a small town but it's a great place to visit because of the welcoming community and hidden gems. We're very close the Canadian border which is always another great place to travel to. I'm traveling right now so I'm not there but my place is always open to travelers wherever I may be.

I love meeting and hanging out with people, running, reading, and getting involved in different things. I love travelling and have recently found more time for over the past few years which is very exciting for me.

One amazing thing I've done was travel through Europe alone. I spent two weeks meeting amazing people, experiencing different cultures, discovering new things and possibilities for myself.
