Overview
About Me
I'm a full time student and a bartender, so I don't have a lot of free time; but the few hours I get off I prefer spending them out having an adventure and creating memories! I've lived all over the US, so I love all climate zones from the mountains to the desert. I've been in San Diego, California for a little over 9 years, but have been thinking of trying to live overseas for a little bit. I love meeting new people and exploring new cities and countries! I don't get to travel nearly as often as I'd like, but I'm slowly working my way through my travel bucket list.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel I like to spend a few days doing 'touristy' things and then live a few days like the locals. I think that's the only way to get the full experience. I don't prefer travelling by myself, but I've realized I'm not willing to miss out on living life. I'm hoping being on Couchsurfing will give me the opportunity to meet people who are up for showing me the secrets to their city, and what makes it amazing; and I might be able to do the same for people who want to come to San Diego!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is new wave 80's! Second after that would be Ska. But pretty much anything other than Disco. haha
My favorite movies: Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Pretty In Pink, Memento, Snatch, The Boondock Saints, Guys and Dolls.
My favorite books: The alphabet mysteries by Sue Grafton and the Irish series by Andrew Greeley.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the opportunity a few years ago to travel to Ireland and meet family I didn't know existed! I was able to spend a month getting to know these distant relatives and see where my heritage comes from. I stayed a month, but it wasn't long enough. I'd love to go back and visit again!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm super respectful of other people's places/property. I'm very outgoing, talkative, and tend to get along with new people fairly easily.
