Overview
About Me
Ye Fellow Couchsurfer!
I come to Couchsurfing with an eager motive to experience, learn, accept and belong!
I have lived in India all my life and have a fair share of knowledge about the languages of the Southern states of this beautiful country.
I am always on the look out for interesting conversations and adventure.
I love to take my time to absorb my surroundings and bask in its essence.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It provides a sense of community and belonging...
I was hesitant when I first came across this idea but then I watched Amanda Palmer's TED video (highly recommend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMj_P_6H69g) and around the same time through a colleague I was introduced to a bunch of like-minded girls in Mysore who were all couch-surfers! The stories were interesting and I began experimenting...
Now I don't understand why people would travel otherwise :D
Interests
I try and steer as far away as possible from 'competition' and having made that clear... I know I was born to swim, like a fish takes to water!
On land... I love dancing!
Being a vegetarian my choices of food are narrowed down thereby making me an enthusiast of locally grown fruits and vegetables and native styles of cooking them.
In a life full of dynamic changes... one thing that'll remain a true constant to the heart is a cup of good steaming coffee with oat milk and jaggery!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Open to experimentation (although I am partial to Latin American , Middle Eastern music and Afro Beats!)
Movies - Too many, but a common factor is- they must have a happy ending! (so a majority of that basket would hold romantic comedies and all things Woody Allen :P )
Books - I can never pin it down to a favourite book! However Jhumpa Lahiri and Ruskin Bond are my favourite authors and nothing could ever go wrong with their work :)
