Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started CouchSurfing this summer and it was so awesome I decided I'd try my hand at hosting as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of my best travel experiences have been through CouchSurfing, and now I can't imagine traveling without it and am always trying to convince all my family and friends to try it

Music, Movies, and Books

I study 19th-century literature of the British, French, and Portuguese varieties, but I'm also a sucker for Hemingway and Ian McEwan. For music, if it's live, I'm always game. If it's not, then classic rock (The Beatles, The Who), random indie stuff (The New Pornographers, Spoon), Scandinavian rock (Mando Diao, Gluecifer). I'll watch just about any movie that's old or foreign and will love you forever if you also have an undying love of Almost Famous, The Sting, and Home Alone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to bake. I can make you addicted to tea and cheese. I want to hear your travel stories and learn whatever you want to teach me.
