About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep walking the path- learning as I go.

ABOUT ME

I'm a driven individual that is very much connected to my practice and goals in life. That being said I steer clear of the ever exceeding ladder to bigger and better, and don't assume myself as the donkey chasing the carrot. I am just really grateful I've found my passion and am engaged at keeping working at it. I know to stay well and that has become a big part of my life. I like to meditate daily, self-reflect, and do something for my body whether it be yoga, walking, swimming, dancing, feldenkrais I don't mind. I like to maintain healthy relationships and be there for loved ones. I love experiencing - I'm pretty adventurous, not shy- I like taking the road less travelled. I try my best to make space for community, inclusiveness and breaking down of social barriers. I still call Australia home but I don't ever lose the feeling to discover new places and change it up all over again.

PHILOSOPHY

So we shall let the reader answer this question for himself: who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy the exchange of culture and the sharing of life experience.
Sometimes i just really - cant afford to pay for somewhere to stay!
I am happy to share my space- and life with others and help them out when they are in need.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Edinburgh and Valencia. In Edinburgh my host really helped me come to terms with my own insanities. In Valencia I had difficulty with 'being hosted' as I had been living in co-ops before hand. I was going through a lot of questioning- criticality. Later back in Australia I stayed with one of the most liberal and ecologically inspiring people I've met (in Adelaide and had a great landing - from the harshness of camping in Central Australia). I also hosted a now dear friend who i've played music with and introduced to her now husband and father of her child.
