Hey :) my name is Melli (nickname for Melanie). I just finished my Bachelor and now I'm travelling through Eastern Europe - Go East! :) In May and June, I've been to Poland and Lviv and really enjoyed being there, making new friends and get to know the culture there. From the end of July I want to discover the well known and hidden gems of Vienna, Slovakia, Hungary, Rumania, Ukraine, Serbia and Croatia. The first half of this journey I'm travelling with a lovely friend Melli (for Melissa). About me: I'm a happy uncomplicated person who follows an active life. I'm absolutely into spontaneous adventures and talking the nights away.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
When I travel, I want to get to know the real "spirit of the location". So I would rather live at locals homes than at hotels or hostels.
Music, Movies, and Books
Depending on the situation I listen to melodious music of singer & songwriters like Ed Sheeran or to some house beats or rock. Currently I'm watching Elementary, which I love, because for me all series, books and films around Sherlock Holmes fascinate me. During my workouts I listen to the original stories from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and some fan fictions.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
For my dream profession I quit my job and began studying Business Psychology in the completely other part of Germany "far away" from my family and friends. Living together with friends is the best thing I can imagine to live.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Cooking, linguistics, positive thinking, psychology, German, German culture Learn: French and other languages, different cultures, togetherness, cities and countries Share: Life hacks, good time, interesting talks
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'd return the favor with German goodies, which aren't available at your place: e. g. good (really good) beer or sweets. Just say what I can bring along :) Needless to say, I'd cook for us, when you agree with letting someone else in your kitchen ;)
