About Me
CURRENT MISSION
taking the long way home...
ABOUT ME
we (my boyfriend and i) left berlin with no place to go back to to see the world and find a new place to live: enjoying hitchhiking, camping, being outside in general...mainly looking for our selves, finding us in other people.
we left our organised lives with flat, job, family and friends and found a different kind of freedom...that we do not want to give up anymore.
PHILOSOPHY
it's a russian saying: ne imei 100 rublei, a imei 100 drusei...you don't have to have 100 rubels but 100 friends. it is pretty amazing how little I need to live a good life !

Interests
sharing my living space with plants and animals, we are constantly observing and working the vegetable garden, collecting wild herbs and fruits and caring for the animals.
apart from that we organise movie nights in the village, all kinds of surreal movies, silent movies and independent movies from all over the world.
music is very important for me - listening to it - tom waits, modern classical, swing, dark, songwriter, arcade fire.
also photography is something I am very interested in....

- photography
- organic food
- gardening
- movies
- music
- camping
- languages

Music, Movies, and Books
lots, too many, not enough, more and more:
metropolis, nosferatu, the 9 lives of thomas katz, bennys video, peters friends, branaghs hamlet, dead man, i'm not there, the icestorm and most important all movies by one of my favourite directors, guy maddin.
books by heinrich böll, hermann hesse, thomas mann, hanif kureishi, douglas adams, arthur schnitzler...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
to leave my hometown with nothing but a backpack and lots of good intentions was the most amazing thing i have ever done in my life, so far...home is where my heart is, and it had been here in Olba for over 10 years now...
Teach, Learn, Share
as our village follows the rules of comradship, exchanging things and services, we support the idea of acquisition without currency.
i can share my knowledge of languages, my understanding of plants and gardening and animal communication with you...
