About Me

Hello fellow couchsurfer, updating this January 2021, what an absolutely insane year.
I haven't been on in a while but I am considering a trip this fall, so I figured I'd log back in and open my home to those who may need a place, I understand it is weird times right now and I'd like to help out still.
I enjoy making art, sharing stories and food with people, let me cook for you and lets get to know each other!

I look forward to meeting more lovely surfers, drop a message :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like many others on Couchsurfing, I want to meet new people! I've learned a lot from the few I've met on CS, it's always interesting to see a new perspective on life and learning about things that people are interested in.
I really love the enthusiasm for life and excitement that many CS users I've met exude, and I've had lot of fun so far.

Interests

I love making food that satisfies not only people's hunger, but their taste buds as well!
I love strange items, going to thrift stores and yard sales is one of my favorite things to do, but I am definitely running out of space for weird things such as cow skulls, duck shaped mirrors, and ultra-specific-themed lamps. In a perfect world I would probably change out my decor every 6 months or so, like an art rotation in a museum.

I really love talking to people but I also enjoy getting out into nature and shutting up for a few minutes to listen to birds, if you listen closely there are SO many different kinds of calls, it almost blows my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to commit myself to taking care of two cats, I think it's pretty amazing that I keep them alive and healthy. They are such a cute responsibility!

In 2017 Noah and I took a road trip down to South Carolina to see the total solar eclipse, and are planning to catch the one coming in 2024 as well! It's a must see for everyone, I would highly recommend it.

In 2018 Noah and I embarked on a trip across the United States with a fellow Couchsurfer we met through hosting. We quit our jobs and met many really cool people. Noah also made a movie that documented the experience, it's on his YouTube channel that is linked above!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you know gymnastics, I would love to learn some cool tricks, and it would be really fun to do some cheerleading routines or something like that.
Also, stick sword fights are fun, let me teach you my tricks on getting the best of your enemy!
Let's talk music. I have a wide variety of music I listen to, let's share our favorite artists with each other, I'm always looking for something new.

I am always trying new recipes, it would be absolutely wonderful to learn recipes that are authentic and traditional to other cultures.

I can teach you to write a sonnet, thanks, Shakespeare!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an insane singer and dancer. No, I didn't say good, I said insane, and I MEAN it! I know a lot of good and funky jams, I can most certainly offer am energetic and fun vibe to a situation where it's appreciated.

I love to hear and share stories, helping with cooking is always a really fun way to interact with new people and environments. I am very easy going, if you want to drag me out on the town, I am more than happy to spend a night out painting the town red, but I can also be a very low maintenance and self sufficient surfer.
