HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a very spacious couch here. At the moment my children are very small so it's easier for me to offer hospitatlity than it is to go travelling. I see couch surfing as way to travel without leaving home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been travelling around thanks to other people's generosity for along time before I heard of couch surfing! I've had some wonderful experiences and met some wonderful people... i was working on WWOOF farms for a long time: it was then I discovered that the best way to travel is to avoid all major cities, they are all pretty much them same once you subtract the architecture, and to head to the country side, where you meet real people and get to try the real food.

I'm interested in having a good time, exchanging knowledge, sharing laughs, and maybe a nice cup of nettle tea.

I love reading, some of the books that have changed my life would include "the Diceman" by Luke Rhineheart, "Brave New World" and "Ape and Essence" by Aldous Huxley, and the Tales of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.

The most beautiful book I have ever read is "The man who was Thursday" and my favourite album is "Graceland" by Paul Simon...

I've been learning Italian for a number of years now and am not so bad. But my first linguistic love will be suomeksi and the many vowels of lakeside Finland. I also love herbs... and listening to new information... I'm also an astrologer, yogini, reiki master and happy aimless Rainbow Mamma.
