Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My next country to visit is Canada. I have travel plans for April-May that include Victoria, Vancouver and Toronto.

I would like to use this as an opportunity to get to know people and reliable hosts as an more unique alternative to crowded hostels or costly hotels.

I would like to be able to learn about the city I am visiting from the person who is hosting me. I have had this account for quite some time but never actually used it to be hosted. Would like have a positive experience and leave/receive an honest review as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Becoming a teacher. I never thought 10 years ago that I would be teaching in front of a classroom, in three different counties at that. Starting with Vietnam where I did my TESOL and was my first time leaving my home country. Also later earning CELTA and teaching university.
