I am glad to introduce myself to you! My name is Alena (original Russian name would really sound like "Aliyona").
I am an active, energetic, inquisitive, curious, athletic, easy-going, funny sunny girl. I have a wonderful big family and a lot of friends all over the world.
Now I am studying Robotics in France, living here for 1.5 years already.

I can do plenty of different things, cause I never do nothing, I always need action!

I love sport, I can do:
rollerblading, surfing, windsurfing, snowboarding, badminton, golf, ping pong, shooting, running, ice skating, acrobatics, volleyball, yoga, ultimate frisbee, biking, hiking, horse riding, climbing, swimming, kayaking, sailing, boating.
I have a lot of hobbies such as:
Cooking, crafting, playing piano, playing guitar and ukulele, painting, suing, knitting, felting, reading, learning languages (English, Italian, French), programming, walking in my city (the most beautiful city in the world - Saint Petersburg, you are welcome to visit it, you won't forget it!), photography, videography and of course traveling!
My favorite vehicle is a bike. My favorite artist is nature. I love the forest, the mountains and my absolute love is the ocean!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Why would I be here if I wouldn't adore traveling? I love it, but unusual ones, where you can get new experience, new knowledge, friends and moments, that you will remember forever.
I don't want to be just a tourist in the city, I want to be a guest, meet local people, listen to their stories, their perception of the country, of their town. That is why I have decided to look for housing on the workaway and couchsurfing websites. This is my first experience, but I am sure that I will find good people, interesting talks, that maybe will influence my future direction.
It is hard for me to host right now, as I don't have any extra space in my small flat right now. But once I settle down, I will give back the good welcoming to the CS community.
