ABOUT ME

My name is Matteo Yann Feo, half swiss and half italian. I'm 20 years old and currently studying Information Techology at university. I used to live in Como, near Milan, but I recently moved to Shanghai now. I will be living in this amazing country for one incredible year.

I have always wanted to travel the world, meet the people and see things i couldn't even imagine. I'm in love with a cheap cost of life, but rich of emotions and memories. Since i read "On the Road" i have been convinced of what my life should be

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine introduced me to this website, and as soon as i read about it I realized it was perfect for me.

I love meeting new people while travelling in order to experience it outside the usual touristic way. I always want to live my trip as real as possible. No other ways are as good as meeting a local and sleep on their couch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the Spring festival of 2016 I backpacked the entire China from Beijing to Kashgar and seeing some incredible places (Pingyao, Chengdu, Xian, Xiahe, Dunghuang, etc...).

I travelled on the slowest and most uncomfortable trains, I slept in the coldest stations and lived the adventure in the most amazing way ever!

When I could, I met many couch surfers who helped me to understand the city. I met so many friend on my Chinese Road I will never forget
