About Me

I'm 23 and I'm originally from Scotland but came to the US when I was 18 to study and play college soccer. I graduated last year and moved to Florida to work. This summer I'm taking a bad ass road trip which I've planned on doing since I first came here as a freshman so this is my last chance to do so with my own car etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard great things! I love meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences. I love being in a situations and thinking "did I ever imagine I'd be in this place with this person" - I think there's something really cool about that.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music varies. One minute I'm listening to Chance the Rapper then I'm chilling to Jason Isbell then the Foo Fighters come on. I like mostly anything. Open to suggestions. Love live music.

I always have a book on the go and whilst packing up my stuff I realized that a Kindle would've been my best investment 5 years ago but that clearly would've made too much sense. The Travelers Gift' was one of my favorites. You're a Badass was great too. I'm currently reading The Yellow Envelope.

Movies? I love comedies. I love Jim Carrey and Robin Williams. I can quote Elf, Mrs Doubtfire, School of Rock and Ace Ventura (but I'll try really hard not to).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran the 2017 Queens Half Marathon in NY and raised £1200 for charity!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new things, hearing new stories and having discussions about actual meaningful things. Even if we disagree I think it's important to listen!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My accent? good stories, life perspective, good vibes, a coupla beers, Scottish stuff and if we really get on well maybe some street tacos.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, England, France, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Scotland, United States
