ME! Hola! My name is Mia Sarah, I'm 26, an expat and I'm hopelessly addicted to travel (and I wouldn't have it any other way). I was born and raised in the U.S. before my family relocated to Sydney Australia which I now call home. CURRENT MISSION Travel the world - complete my personal legend. PHILOSOPHY Do unto others as you would have them do to you. Travel is life - it opens doors you never though possible. Some of the best nights you'll have are the ones where you didn't get much sleep. Go hard or go home.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I've had so many friends try and recommend this. I could spend a ridiculous amount on hotels and only see the tourist side of things, or I could eat, dine and explore with the locals. I love to meet new people, and want to see the authentic side of the city so this would be an awesome way to do it.
Music, Movies, and Books
Depends on my mood! Way too many to list so I'll pick a top 3...ish...gah! Music - Indie/acoustic/blue grass/rock/ambient/techno Books - Catcher in the Rye, Gone Girl, Dorian Grey, The Prince, The Alchemist Movies - Gladiator, The Wrong Man, The Fountain (Darren Arronofsky), pretty much everything by Wes Anderson (but the Darjeeling Limited and the Fantastic Mr. Fox are probably my faves).
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I wouldn't call it amazing but I'd call it an experience - I volunteered in an all girls orphanage in India. I helped, wash, feed and cloth them, taught them English and Maths and cared for their social well being. Pretty sure they did far more for me and my growth as a person than anything I could have done for them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything is an experience (good and bad) and a lesson learned. Regret nothing!
