One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
9 months travel in South america selling art on streets and cruising my motorcycle through the bolivian highlands.
Teach, Learn, Share
I learn from everyone I meet even in little bitty ways. I love traditional ways and hands-on crafting especially r/t self-sufficiency. Can we make art together? Dance? Cook? Garden? What enlivens your soul?
What I Can Share with Hosts
An open mind. Some skills: Bike repairs, I can cook for you or share chores- I love to weed! I absolutely adore weeding. I can teach you spoon carving or puppet making, contact improvization dance, do small house repairs or painting. I can diagnose sti's and treat them. I can provide reproductive, gynecologic and transgender healthcare. Teach Spanish or about pregnancy. I'll likely bring local foods to share, some hand-made material to show my gratitude. I think the best thing I can offer are my questions and curiousity for your "home" -- you are where you are for a reason. And in case you were feeling a tinge of complacency, I find it reinvigorates my love for home when a guest brings fresh perspective and interest in my community.
