I have taken various detours thus far to travel and explore the world including a year long exchange to Brazil, a gap year spent in many countries, and a couple shorter trips. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am looking to spend my summer in a new city in the US! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I took a gap year in between high school and college and couchsurfed in Japan and a few places in Italy!

Spent 6 hours in the Amazon Rainforest with a soldier who gave in a crash course to surviving in the wilderness
