Overview
About Me
I'm a keen researcher, with a great interest in the current state of the world, and the universe (I'm quite interested in astro-physics). I keep up-to-date with The American Scientist, Cosmos and various publications through the local library. I'm very interested in Localisation v Globalisation. I'm interested in ways of engagement that tend towards a sustainable world. I've done considerable research into local currencies and believe they're an essential component in a healthy economic system.
I love meeting, and hosting people, and believe that most encounters teach you something.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To host people travelling through the South West of Western Australia and to share a little about my life, and to meet, and learn about others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Building a well by hand, down to 120 feet, in the sand in Northern frontier Kenya to water Somali camels, so that the camels had water, when they would have otherwise had to travel another 10 days for it.
