I'm full of energy. I feel like I'm 40 years old instead of 64. I love to dance, partner dance preferably, and will do it all day long with good music. I am a builder by trade and addiction. I love the old skills . I've only couch surfed with other members but want to start doing it to build my own profile. Just spent a month going to music and dance festivals in central France. I'm really into organic gardening and sold at market for a couple years. My primary residence is 2 hours west of Nashville, TN (possibly the best city in the US) on the Tennessee River. It is a wild, beautiful, remote area with a huge lake, LOTS of forest land and few people

Intereses

I am pretty much addicted to two things--dancing and building.Dancing includes Cajun, Zydeco, swing, 2 step, waltz, clogging and flatfooting, some latin, and a host of others. I really like to dance to country music. Nashville is about heaven for me.
I am constantly involved in some building project. Right now it's my house I'm building in TN. I did restoration contracting for 30 years and love the primitive styles of buildings.
I live part time in Virginia and part time in TN and travel a lot since I retired. I try to go dancing wherever I go, for the joy of doing it and to learn how people dance in each place

I almost never watch TV or go to movies. I seldom read fiction. I read primarily to learn. I like to study languages. My taste in music is influenced by my love of dancing.

I learned to dance after I was 45 and I learned to speak Spanish after I was 50. Just spent a month dancing in central France and I can now carry on a conversation in French. I sold fast food 3 hours a day for 5 days to an all French crowd with all French Cooks at Le Son Continu for my immersion class. Danced every day for a month while there.
