Washington DC is diverse, has a good transit system, lots of food options, entertainment and sports, a good sense of community, free things - museums are free to visit. Parks and trails all over, Increasing options for biking. Full of young people with lots of energy and drive.
DC is incredibly progressive- it's like the most liberal city/district/legal entity in the US
If you like politics, it is the world’s epicenter.
