About Me

Fun loving, gastronomical delights seeking, brew mastering, and all around adventurer looking to make new friends & connections as I eat & drink myself around the UK & Western Europe. I love a good music festival, crafting & sampling craft beer & local flavors...I am up for epic adventures!

My new motto is today's new friend is tomorrows family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and learn about some new foods & local flavors. I am out for adventure. I'm going to start my trip in Ireland on the 7th of April. I will be traveling through the U.K. and western Europe for two months and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and new friends.

Interests

I like to craft and create with wood or metal,( I'm just learning to weld). I also love music and of course, cooking. I love to host, from an intimate cocktail party to an all out 5 keg BBQ. I am an avid outdoorsman..love to camp, hike and generally just breathe in what this world has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, mostly Rockabilly. I was a Deadhead for a portion of my youth ...did I mention I make a mean Grilled Cheese? I tend to read science fiction/fantasy type books ..but I will always throw an occasional classic in there as well. My favorite movies include Star Wars (the original trilogy), dark comedies, Tarantino films, Guy Ritchie movies (gotta feed my inner cave mans desire for action) and great classics ..Casablanca, The African Queen...etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have cooked for some famous people. Including Hillary Cinton, and President Obama. I just returned from eight wonderful weeks of touring Europe alone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to trade recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you a tale, make you laugh, I can help with household chores, but my specialty is in the kitchen. Let me whip you up a feast, or just let me cook you breakfast...you wont be dissapointed.
I am completely self sufficient, I have my own sleep sack, towel & sundries..just need a place to sleep. You don't need to entertain me..but I would love to make lasting friendships on my journey.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, France, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Scotland, Turkey
