CURRENT MISSION Enjoy the 1 life I have ABOUT ME I'm Mike. I'm a doctoral student in molecular biology at Mississippi State. That's effectively my entire life and my first priority. I'm pretty relaxed and open minded about pretty much anything. PHILOSOPHY I recognize I only get one shot at making what I want out of life. Everything I've done is a combination of working hard, being obsevant and taking advantage of opportunites when theyre presented to me. Being educated contributes significantly to my happiness, hence why I've been in school at some level for all but 5 years of my life.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING In terms of couch surfing, I'm pretty open. My couch is open to those who need a place. I've couchsurfed and had a great time. Nice way to meet a temp friend. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Surfed once, have yet to host.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I dont like to read. I only read when I need to learn something...I have a collection of biological, and computer science reference books on my shelf. I like my music creative and original.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I've caught snakes in the deserts of west Texas, alligators in the coasts of Louisiana, crocodiles on an island south of Panama. I've skydived, surfed, I snowboard when I can.

I'm totally new to this idea, but would like to explore this world and get involved with it.
My Interests
When I'm not doing school work, I like watching movies/documentaries...netflix is a lifesaver, finding/collecting music, walking my dog, being outside when the Mississippi climate allows me to, I bike, swim, and run.
