About Me

I'm a bi nudist, married to a wonderful woman over 40 years with four children, all grown, and five grandchildren.

When I'm not working I have many things to occupy my time. I'm an avid traveler and camper, have traveled to all 50 states, most of them many times. I've also been to most Canadian provinces. Enjoy the peace and quiet of being in nature. Play golf whenever possible. Enjoy gardening, hiking, running, music.

I am easy going, patient, friendly, kind, and accepting of people from all walks of life. LGBT friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a great deal for my job and occasionally would like to couchsurf, especially with other nudists who can share the joys and challenges we encounter. Since my wife doesn't join me in nudist environments, it is easier to practice this while I am traveling. I enjoy meeting new people from different areas and different walks of life, sharing stories of life and travel, discussing important issues that face our society and just enjoying each other's company. Couchsurfing enables cultural exchange and the opportunity to meet a variety of people we wouldn't normally meet.

I've stayed with over 50 hosts now, and enjoyed each of them. They are a diverse lot in many ways, but it is fascinating to exchange differing philosophies and experiences. I am open to hosting guests and have done so several times, but my travel schedule for work is such that I often am out of town. But then, this is not a big tourist attraction either.

I am outgoing and enjoy getting to know other people from different walks of life who can share stories of their adventures, philosophy, life events, etc.

I've been to Europe several times and want to do more international travel while I have the opportunity. Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to do this in a manner that enables me to understand the culture and attitudes rather than just the scenery and buildings.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer classical music. My favorite composers in no particular order are Chopin, Mozart, Tschaikovsky, Bach, Mendelssohn, Wagner, Handel, Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven.

I enjoy comedies, romantic comedies, historical movies, and some drama.

I've read so many books it's hard to pick a favorite. I enjoy biographies, history and politics especially.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess I don't view the events of my life as being that exceptional. I am an Eagle Scout. That seems to impress people, though it just seemed as though it was something I worked for little by little.

Oh, I guess one thing I did that not too many people do is build a small vacation home mostly by myself. I did the framing, most of the electrical work, paneled the walls, did the ceramic tile, etc. The concrete work and plumbing I hired out, but most of the other things I did myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about financial planning and hints about saving travel costs.

I can learn pretty much anything others are willing to teach.

I can share stories of travel, philosophy, my corny jokes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories of my travel and life, share a good meal, a bottle of wine, and just a relaxing good time.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Monaco, Poland, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
