ABOUT ME

I'm interested in exploring and getting under the skin of the places I visit and live in. Meeting local people, I have found, is the best way to do this and to make awesome new friends. I love nature - any activities or sports that are out in the wild have a magnetic effect on me. Surfing, swimming, beach volleyball, jungle action, you name it. I write some bits and pieces, articles, books and so on, so I'm also drawn to a quiet nook, cafe, tree stump from time to time to get some words on paper.

I've recently stopped living in Indonesia, where I lived for three years in a bus. It's no time for something new. Hello South America!

I'm very easy to get along with, very respectful of people and their property.
