HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch/bed in Hartland, Vermont is always open for visitors. I also look for couches to facilitate visiting new places around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people when I lived in Burlington, Vermont. Also I have stayed on many people's couches across a few states in New England (Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire.

Interests

I love hiking, biking, running, camping, kayaking, swimming, and pretty much all things outdoors. I love visiting new places, and having new experiences!

I love all kinds of music, movies, and books.

My favorite books are Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, and Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut.

My favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poet's Society, Seven, and American Beauty (among many others).

My favorite bands are The National, Future Islands, Radiohead, Cut Copy, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, and Phish (among many others).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Europe, Peru, and Kenya. In Peru I volunteered in Ollantaytambo and stayed with a family for a three weeks. To cap off the trip I visited Machu Picchu. Amazing, and I can't wait to return to South America.
