As you can imagine, one of my principal character trait is ma curiosity. It's the reason why i passed the last three years traveling all around the world.
I come from Poitou Charentes (North of Bordeaux), but now i am living in Guadeloupe. I work as project manager in the National Park of Guadeloupe. Before that, I studied how to use wood in an engineer school and i worked in small company to build treehouses. I also studied how to protect forest by learning about sociology and antrhopologie... You undestand why i said that i'm curious...

When I travel, my goal is to discover a new culture and to try to understand it. I like spend a long time in a same place, to really learn about the country i am visiting. When i was student i had several experience in foreign countries like Laos, Madagascar and Peru. In my point of vue, every places on the earth deserves to be known. I do not appreciate people who travel to enjoy the freedoms that some countries allow and who travel without any respect for the places they visit and people they meet!

To finish, I appreciate the simple things, especially since my travel in tropical countries. I am far from being someone complicated!
Do not worry, I also like to party and enjoy life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Receive and be received to satisfy my intellectual curiosity, That's what I am looking for.

The first time I tried couchsurfing was in Scotland in 2011. With a friend we decided to go to the North of this country to see the beautiful landscapes that we had saw in the film Braveheart... We did all the travel from France to Scotland doing hitch-hiking, and sleeping in couchsurffer homes.
It was a wonderful couchsurfing experience, because people hosted us without fear, only because they were touched by our travel project... I will always remember about that and i will try to continue the Couchsurfing experience.
Since this first experience, I did Couchsurfing in Thailand, Czech Republic and I hosted several people when i was student in Epinal (in France).
To day, after few years without using couchsurfing because i was studying in several country, I am ready to host people again and eventually be hosted if i have a new travel project.

Interests

I love sports, especially outdoor sports: Hicking, Paragliding, Trail running, Apnea, Handball ... I also love theatre, reading, music. I also enjoy to discover new activities...
