Overview
About Me
I think. I reflect. I design. I make. This takes good dose of periodic inspiration. As such I love to explore and try new things and meet interesting people. This can take me away from my home base in Seattle. I can be found moving around by vehicle (two or four wheeled), by bicycle, by canoe, and by airplane. And when I land, there I go by foot, often with a dance in my step. I primarily design buildings for a living, and I'm endlessly fascinated by living spaces - stationary or mobile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I explore personally and professionally - both for my inspiration and to seek out new design opportunities. And sometimes just moving around while I'm working on a design keeps my creativity kindled. Connecting with interesting people is a big part of that. And well, having a place to sleep, bath, and eat helps.
Interests
art, architecture, design, nature, travel, hiking, bicycles, motorcycles - minimalism - and just understanding things. I also enjoy music and dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classic Leonard Cohen fan - but otherwise musical tastes are very diverse, as is my taste in movies. I prefer reading and watching things that make me think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being alive is amazing, I just keep trying to do that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have little to no fear, and no hesitation to learn or try new things. I've collected a lot of skills along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a good conversationalist. And people seem to like me. It could mean that I'm good company. I'm clean, tidy, and mild mannered and always clean up after myself.
