Chi sono
Hello there!
I'm Scheggia, I'm from Lugano, a medium-small city in the southern sunny-side of Switzerland and I'm currently studying Enviornmental Sciences in Zürich. Because of that, being now in the full-semester phase, it will be very difficult that I can host people in Lugano, I'm sorry about that.. But you can still try to ask, it may be that I have a free weekend and that I can host you :)
I would describe myself as a cheerful, open-minded and easy-going person who enjoy life and all the small thing it provides, like a walk in the forest, a glass of wine along the lake or a beer with friends!

Since I live near the mountains I'm really fond of a lot of mountain related sports, ranging from winter sports like snowboard, skiing, ice skating and hockey, to more summer activities like hiking, climbing, bouldering or just taking an easy walk in the forest.
I like a lot many kind of food from all over the world! I appreciate enjoying a beer or a glass of wine in the evening, chilling and exchanging stories with my friends.
I also love listen to music of many genre and I have a collection of CD's that I like to play sometimes on the stereo chilling on the couch. Interested in movies and one or two years ago I started also to appreciate reading.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Once I worked in the Grison Alps, 150 km far away from where I live and it was almost Christmas, so thought it would be a good idea to cut a spruce and bring it home to my parents. I had to load it on three buses and a train to reach my house.. but hey, it was totally worth it! :)
Insegna, impara, condividi
I'm really open to learn anything, from some random fact about a city, to cooking new food and why not, learning some of the basic of other languages.
If you're struggling with Italian language I would be glad to help you learn it! And because in my region we can find both Italian and Swiss kitchen I can cook you some of the dishes we have in Ticino, ranging from pasta to rösti! (Given that I'll find the appropriate ingredients! :D )
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
I can offer a nice and cozy stay in my house and maybe also some good typical/traditional dishes either from italian, swiss-italian or swiss kitchen!
