About Me
DUE TO COVID I'M NOT CURRENTLY IN DURHAM, NC OR ABLE TO TAKE GUESTS.
THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING.
Hi!
I used to work in health care, but I just graduated from Duke University where I was a fellow of Theology, Medicine and Culture. I currently work as a consultant and a musician, creating small, sustainable ways for people to have happier, more joy-filled lives.
I love playing and creating music...and dancing...especially in unexpected places like airports and small fishing villages in Iceland.

Also, I've hiked over 375 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
NOTE: If you're requesting to stay with me and it's more than a month out, I most likely won't be able to confirm until closer to the date as I also rent out my guest room on AirBnB. Thanks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I could stay in a hotel, but then I'd miss out on the joy of meeting others and hearing their stories. Life's better when it's shared.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I spent a month in rural Alaska working at a hospital and participating in medevac flights to remote villages.
Teach, Learn, Share
I often travel with my mountain dulcimer and can play songs for you. Also, I'm a certified Reiki and Feng Shui practitioner.
I'm happy to share a lap around the roller skating rink to your favorite 80s playlist!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, songs, reiki, feng shui. Random advice gleaned from the road as well as theological musings =P.
