Hello and welcome to my profile :) My name is Michelle and I love to travel! I have been traveling solo ever since I was 13. As a busy student I had to take long breaks from exploring the world but now that I’ve graduated what better time do I have to go to all the places I’ve never been?! Of course, that’s expensive, so I try to travel on a budget… :P My favorite part of travel is people and culture. So I’m hoping I can meet lots of fascinating people and make lifelong friends — some of my best friends are people I’ve met while traveling or living in other countries :) I’ve mostly traveled in America, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. I’ve been to Europe just a few times. I’m hoping to add Africa, South America, and Australia to my list soon too :) When I’m not traveling or working, I love to spend my free time with my family or creating art! I also love watching Korean dramas, so hit me up if you got some recommendations!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people, it’s my favorite part of traveling! Plus, I find that a lot of hotels, airbnbs, and hostels are located in very busy areas and don’t always provide an authentic experience. (I actually enjoy staying in hostels to meet people, but sometimes it’s nice to have a quieter residential area.) Lastly, travel is expensive 😂 Please note, I am on this website to TRAVEL and MAKE FRIENDS only :) Please do not message me with any other intentions in mind… I do not like having to put up this notice however I have gotten some nasty messages.
