About Me
Portland has been my home since I was born. My parents and grandparents grew up here. My home is 3 miles from downtown in the west hills and a one mile walk to the Zoo where there is a MAX train. There is TriMet bus 1/4 mile from my place. I’m an empty nester who is single and traveling with every minute off work I can get. I am a nurse. I work full time and have three or four day weekends. I travel several times a year and most of the time solo.
I’m mindful and aware. get my highs on living. I embrace fear as a friend and engage in each day as a gift. Open to new adventures and making new friends for even just a day. Love music of all genres and dancing barefoot! Being in the water for SUP and snorkeling is awesome. I’ve done some free diving but want to learn scuba. Tried spear fishing and that was challenging- let’s have some fun. I’m a rock climber. Yoga is what I do most often during the week. Have experienced mountain climbing and Canyoneering in the US. Would love to do some internationally. Practice yoga and meditation as a way of living. I’m a good cook and health nut- love chocolate and coffee - I do not have desire for alcohol and choose to be inebriated in spirits of life experiences - skydiving was an amazing experience to feel free and alive.
