My current mission is to meet many people, explore new places, and live a life of adventure while learning and becoming a better version of myself!

ABOUT ME

I am a very active person. I love camping, hiking, and recently started rock climbing. I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in the diversely beautiful country of Panama. I am obsessed with travel. I lived in the Fiji islands for 6 months in 2013 and I love island life. I am SCUBA certified and my true passion is for the sea. I try to be a very open minded person and I love meeting people who are different then me. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll be happy to answer :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first became interested in couchsurfing when I backpacked through Europe in 2014. Now that I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama, I thought it would be a good opportunity to host people. I plan a South America backpacking trip at the end of my service in May 2017 for about 3 months. I would love to meet people from these regions to continue my couchsurfing experience.

I have many interests and am interested in learning new things. Instead of bombarding you with a long list, I'll only list a few- keeping in mind these are only a few:

Música, películas y libros

I love all kinds of movies and music. Right now I listen to a lot of Folk and Bluegrass music. In Panama I am learning a lot about the art of latino pop and reggaeton!

I am a huge Harry Potter fan :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of the most amazing things that I have done is live in the Fiji islands. The culture is unlike anything I have ever experienced and the people are amazing. The reef, water, and beaches are also the most beautiful I have, and probably will, ever see.

I also backpacked New Zealand on the South Island which was another amazing experience. The best of which was hiking the Fjordland and kayaking Milford Sound. I can see myself living and working in New Zealand one day.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Living in Panama as a Peace Corps Volunteers has many advantages. There are about 200 of us living in Panama working all over the country. We have been trained on culture and language through native Panamanians. We also know the rest of the country very well. I can share an intimate part of the country that many tourists may never see and offer travel advice.
