HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am recently traveling very often and I try to meet couchsurfers wherever I go. In the past, I have hosted a few while living in Pisa and I have been very active in many events.

Interessi

Sustainable development, BOOKS, traveling, music (you´d better not hear me singing though), Belly Dancing! psychology, foreign languages, pilates, conversations and globalization issues.
I find interests in everything that makes me feel a better person and that helps me contribute to the world.

Musica, film e libri

My first favourite authors are Dostojevskij, Balzac, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Ismail Kadare, a well-known Albanian writer. I have also read some amazing books...but don't remember the authors. Books (any kind) are my biggest love. I started reading well-known authors at a very young age and since then they represent a world apart for me. At the age of 11-12, I was introduced to Dostojevskij, whose books significantly shaped my thinking. But no worries, I am not very philosophical in every day life. :)

Some favorite movies: The Godfather, Forrest Gump, Pretty Woman, The Millionaire, Avatar, La ragazza con la pistola (The girl with the gun), The Gladiator, A beautiful mind, La Boum etc.

Tv series: How I met your mother.

Music: almost everything except for Techno/Rave and all kind of noise (but I was addicted to them as a teenager :) ). Depending on my mood, I can pass from classical to rock. I love the ´80s&´90s music and bands that bring out emotions in me (Roxette,for example, or Yanni's orchestra... love his "Felitsa", "Reflections of Passion" & "Truth of Touch"!!) and don't you just love "Tango in Love"? That's the tango you can feel with your soul, not with your ears.
