Hi there, Mihaela here :)

I'm 28 years old and I grew up in Bucharest, Romania. Left home back in 2009 to do my degree in the UK and ever since I've been traveling the world and been living back and forth between 2 continents. Yes, I did say continents.. I did a Master of Teaching in Brunei Darussalam and lived there for more than 2 years.

Now, I'm working and living in Valencia and since I'm back in Europe I have so many places that I want to travel to.

In case it wasn't obvious, I love to travel, to meet new people & experience new cultures. My prerogative is that the best way of traveling is while living with locals. Always looking for something new..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's always something new to experience and learn. What a better way of doing it if not by traveling? The world is full of unexpected treasures.. all one needs it's a flight ticket and good company ;)

I like music of all sorts.. from classical music to pop. I love to dance, so I'm more than happy with any song that makes me bust some moves or puts me in a good mood.

Movies, hmm.. I like pretty much all genres. I love european movies; sometimes I find american movies way too cheesy and I hate the cliches they tend to portrait throughout..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done last year was floating in Temburong river (in Brunei). We were river rafting and when the instructor gave us the okay that is "safe" to jump in, we did! I say "safe" because the water was pitch dark, the currents tend to be pretty strong and the common predators in Temburong are crocodiles.. so yeah, that was pretty crazy of us.
