A friend recommended the site, as a way to save money on accommodation while travelling! But more importantly as a great way to meet the local people, and gain an insight into their experiences and recommendations of what to do and where to go in their area

I listen to pretty much any kind of music; I'm not much of a film fan but I do enjoy most comedies and action films; I don't read much but when I do they are non-fiction books, which are a lot easier to envisage due to a limited imagination!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing - and being the first of my group to reach the top - the highest peak of the Drakensburg range in South Africa 2 months after breaking my collar bone was a great achievement.
