CURRENT MISSION Enjoy retirement, Family, and Friends. ABOUT ME I am married, have raised three daughters and have a new grand daughter. They are all great and a big part of my life. Maui is my favorite place to be and I go often to visit. I have been retired for eight years and continue to do carpentry work when possible. PHILOSOPHY I try to improve myself through reading,reflection and meditation. I try to understand other points of view and actions of others. Not always successful, but I like to think I am making progress.

Best books: Hawaii by Michener, The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein, Stieg Larson's Trilogy, including; "The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo". I grew up with Motown and still love the music, although there are so many artist I listen to. I just saw my first opera, Les Miserables, and loved it.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I loved the 60's and one memory which comes to me often was the scene in Washington D.C. in 1969 at the Vietnam War Protest. So many people in one place accomplishing the same thing together.
