CURRENT MISSION Looking to meet travelers and give them a warm place to sleep ABOUT ME We ended up in Michigan, and while I am trying to get back to California where the rest of my family lives, I am making the most of it here! My days are kept pretty busy with all sorts of volunteering. I enjoy giving back to my community. 3 of my 4 kids have moved out, so I look forward to the times we are all together (be it here or elsewhere).

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING My daughter started couchsurfing a few years ago and has raved about her experiences. While I am not currently traveling myself, I wanted to be able to give travelers a comfortable place to stay while they are on their way. 3 of my 4 kids have moved out, and I miss the excitement of a full house. I am excited to host! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE None. Except virtually through my daughter.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading all sorts of books and listening to all sorts of music. Favorites include: Adele, Frank Sinatra, The Black Eyed Peas, and whatever my daughter recommends. Also, I really enjoy movies but have the privilege of often seeing them twice because I tend to forget everything.

I've sat and had lunch on the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Cooking, reading, long walks with my son, volunteering, visiting CA as often as I can to see my family, going to my new favorite local theater, traveling if it was possible (but really enjoy listening to other people's travel stories) and listening to some good music
