Overview
About Me
I am a student at the University of Oslo, currently doing the master's degree in Gender Studies. I am from South Korea and studied in Berkeley, California for about one and a half years. When I'm home, I enjoy having tranquil moments by myself, drinking tea and reading enlightening articles and essays. I am not super outgoing or adventurous but love hanging out with friends over coffee or beer/wine or at someone's place. I am also quite fond of board games, not that I know about them very much, but I like playing board games with friends. When I'm traveling, I like looking at magnificent and old buildings, appreciating nature, visiting museums (not contemporary art ones though.. it is just not so fascinating to me), and last but not least, enjoying the local food.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie by far is "About TIme", which is a family/drama/romantic film. I just really like the background soundtrack and the atmosphere of the whole movie.
Birdy and Mary Lambert are my favorite musicians. I like their voices and their stories and messages in their songs.
I recently started reading Harry Potter (I know..) so I am not ashamed to say I love it. But I haven't finished the series so please do not spoil it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I skydived in California, and I am extremely afraid of heights. It was amazing, even though I wasn't even aware of how much I was screaming because I was obviously panicking for what I signed up for.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my histories, where I come from and what made me who I am at the moment, as well as cities I have lived or visited. Honestly I am not so well-informed on international politics, specifically North Korea, but would love to have conversations either way. Also I can make Korean food and some common Norwegian dish if there are ingredients that I know how to prepare!
