ABOUT ME

Hello everyone :) My name is Minji. I used to travel a lot more often and I lived in the UK and Australia besides Korea and now I've been living and studying in Oslo, Norway for less than a year. I’ve been way too lucky to meet all the lovely and caring people wherever I was and I'll never forget about them and their geunie kindness. I'm a very positive, friendly, polite, and easy going person. I love human beings with good heart, nature, and all the life lessons I've learnt and experienced throughout my life. I also love meeting people with different backgrounds and individual life stories and getting to know about different cultures too. I've traveled alone to 29 countries in Europe for 1 year and 49 countries so far in my life(number itself doesn’t matter though as I highly appreciate experiences with other people I’ve met on my journey anyway:)) Although I'm imperfect, I sincerely love myself and living my life and I respect other people in this world as well regardless nationality, race, age, sex or whatever as I dislike judging others. I always try to find my own paths and ways to keep my happiness :) BTW, I only use CS for finding more beauty in people and the world and it’s not a dating app haha.

PHILOSOPHY

As always, trusting my own heart, intuition, and myself never lead me to regret, rather to feel happiness I seek and pursue as a result. Life is like a puzzle. Once I realized everything happening to me and everyone I've met end up being every single piece connected to each other and completing one big puzzle which was life, I got a thrill and soon it has become a positive outlook on life. The presence of some people I've known and met who inspired and influenced me a lot let me not worry about a future I'm not yet clear about and freely venture out into the outside world against any complacency, so i'm relived and excited again. Under the circumstance I even don't know what will happen tomorrow, true happiness is all I wish. For that, I keep memories from the past, appreciate the present moment, and dream of the future.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was travelling for the first time alone, I didn't really know about couchsurfing but a lot of people I didn't know well helped me to stay their home,cooked for me, and guided me without any expectations or rewards. That was really impressive and grateful experiences for me and I was even a bit shocked of their genuine hospitality. And later on, I found out how lovely couchsurfing experience could be thanks to truly amazing people indeed and I've been getting more and more fascinated by it. I really love meeting and staying with people around the world with different cultures,languages, and backgrounds and I do appreciate any chances to meet great people and have unforgettable memories with them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my trip in Europe, I'd never stayed at hostel, instead I'd just stayed at local peoples' home and every moments with my hosts was really precious and unforgettable memories for me. Fortunately, I met a lot of nice hosts and people everywhere so that I could have more special experiences than other general travellers. Since there are too many good experiences with my hosts in each countries, it's impossible to write down all here but I'd love to share or tell you later in person :)

Interests

I love adventures and even though I'm a bit lazy person to make plans on whatever I'm doing, I can focus hard on things I really want to do or acheive in my life. I love meeting people and having good conversations(I am a very good listener). It's awalys exciting to share good vibes I think. Moreover, I treat others nicely as I do to myself :)

Genuine mind, soul, feelings that can make us feel happy for living life in this beautiful planet :) I can also try to cook Korean food so that you can experience some authentic Korean dishes. I'd love to share about our thoughts about any subjects so that we can both influence each other in a positive way to see more of the beauty of life.
